Welcome to the Bronxville Green Committee…
A volunteer organization under village government, we work with the mayor, trustees, and administrative staff to promote environmentally sound practices. We run “green” community programs and seek to raise public awareness of the urgent need to conserve resources, switch to clean sources of energy, and adopt environmentally sustainable ways of living.
Our well-established ongoing programs include the Bronxville Giving Garden, a community garden that supplies local food banks; and Take Back Day, offering local recycling of paper, electronics, and other items.
The Bronxville Green Committee provides information and encouragement as we all strive to live sustainably.
