Actors Conservatory Theatre (ACT) is presenting its 52nd consecutive season of producing quality affordable theater in Westchester. Well-known in the arts community and a four-time Best of Westchester recipient, ACT is now in residence in Taylor Hall at Christ Church in Bronxville. Founded in 1975 by Arlene Wendt, ACT has staged over 140 main-stage productions including comedies, dramas, musicals and original works. ACT produces a musical with adult performers in November and a comedy or drama with adult performers in the spring. And ACT produces a Junior Troupe production in March, featuring student performers in grades 5-12 who participate in ACT’s professional-level productions tuition free. Many ACT actors and crew, in part thanks to ACT, have gone on to successful careers in TV, film and theater.
